With a business career spanning 21 years, Glen´s experience extends from trading on Wall Street to real estate brokerage to default servicing consulting.
Glen previously served as manager of the Corporate Services Group (CSG) at Prudential Action Real Estate in Metropolitan New York. This group closed over 1,600 transactions and $440 million in sales volume during Glen´s last three years (2003-2005). He established this department in 1992, a year when there were 22 transactions and $3 million in sales. Glen has been recognized ten times as the #1 Prudential Agent for closed transactions in New York State (1994 to 2004). He was identified by REALTOR® Magazine in 2001, 2002, and 2003 as among the Top 100 Real Estate Agents in the United States.
In 2004, as in 2000 through 2003, Glen received "The Pinnacle" award for closed residential transactions. This required being among the Top 10 agents for closings out of the 50,000 Prudential Realtors® nationally. He has also been acknowledged repeatedly as "Top of The Rock" for being the #1 agent in the Northern Region out of over 12,000 associates (1998 and 2000 through 2004). For 12 consecutive years, Glen achieved the "Chairman"s Circle Diamond Award" requiring $750,000 of commission income or 150 closed transactions annually. He was part of the "PREA 100" as one of the Top 100 Sales Associates for residential closings from 1997 to 2004.
In 2001 and 2004, Glen was honored by the United States Congress with Special Community Service Awards, primarily for his work with first-time homebuyers in Eastern Brooklyn and Western Queens and for promoting homeownership in these underserved areas. He was recognized for "Outstanding Leadership in Promoting Homeownership" by the municipal government of New York City in 2004. Glen was a key participant in the New Yorkers for Responsible Lending initiative that focused on identifying and documenting predatory lending practices, with the result that NY passed one of the first anti-predatory lending laws in the United States. In 2004, he was appointed to the Homeownership Committee for Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) of NY City.
In 1997, Glen´s REO Team earned Prudential Resources Management´s "Partnership Performance Award in Asset Recovery," a unique national award. Glen contributed to and was featured in the book, "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" by Gary Keller and Dave Jenks. Glen has held memberships in the National Association of REALTORS, and five MLS local boards, National REO Brokers Association, REO Managers Association, Institute of Real Estate Management, National Association of Asset Servicers, is a Charter Member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. He has frequently spoken to and on behalf of these organizations.
In 2005 Glen sold his real estate brokerage business and co-founded Default Resource and its subsidiary, Default School.
Glen is a graduate of Boston University with dual degrees in accounting and finance. With his wife and three daughters, he currently resides in Frederick, Maryland.
