Q: How do I take the course(s)? All of our courses are online, which makes them incredibly convenient for you! You simply need a computer and access to the Internet.
Q: When do the course(s) begin? You can take our courses at any time! Our courses are designed so that you start and stop when you want. You can work at your own pace and finish the course when you are able, day or night. You can complete the course at home, at work, or anywhere with an Internet connection. You do not have to complete the course in one sitting. When you exit the course, the system automatically "bookmarks" where you are in the course. When you log back in, simply find your course, click Resume and you will pick up right where you were.
If you are taking any of our continuing education or client courses, your may have a specific timeframe in which you can start and complete courses. Please refer to your state requirements or your client communication for more information.
Q: How long will it take me to complete the course(s)? The length of each course varies. You can check the course description for each course for more information on a specific course.
Q: Will I be tested during the course(s)? There are Test Your Knowledge questions throughout each course. These questions are designed to help you retain the information you learned up to that point. We do not score your answers to these questions. There is also an assessment at the end of each unit in the course and a final assessment at the very end of the course. We want to make sure you master the information in the course, and set the score for your assessments to meet the minimum requirements based on state or client specifications.
Q: How do I navigate through the course(s)? To navigate through the course, click Next at the bottom of each page. You can also click Show Nav Menu to open the Navigation Menu. Here, you can click on each page to open it. Keep in mind that you must click on each page in order. You can jump back and forth on pages you have already accessed, but you cannot jump ahead.
Q: Do I get anything if I complete the course(s) successfully? After you complete and master each end-of-unit assessment and the final assessment at the end of the course, you can view and print a certificate of completion. You can also save the certificate to your computer, if you desire. The website also stores the certificate on your home page.
Q: How often can I go back in to review the material in the course(s)? Some states and clients require courses to be available for only a predetermined amount of time. This timeframe may vary. If you need more time to review the material, contact Customer Support.

Q: How much does the course(s) cost? The cost of each course varies. Refer to the Courses page for more information.
Q: Can I get a discount on the cost of the course(s)? We only offer discounts on a limited basis. Only students who have directly received an offer for a discount are eligible.
Q: Are there any prerequisites to take the course(s)? The prerequisites to take our courses vary by course. To determine if a course has a prerequisite, go to the Courses page and view (info) for any given course. In addition, some clients require you take certain courses in a specific order. In those instances, please refer to your client communication.
Q: Do I need any materials on hand to take the course(s)? No. Everything you need to complete the course(s) is on our website. This includes calculators and reference materials.
Q: Can I print the material in the course(s)? Yes! There is a Print button available to you as you complete each page of your course. You may also print reference guides located throughout the courses. Remember, the material in the course(s) you purchase are available to you exclusively. Q: What kind of computer software do I need to take the course(s)? Please refer to the System Requirements page.
Q: What is Flash Player and why do I need it? Many web pages contain moving pictures, games, and interactive content. Our courses contain these features to engage you while you learn. Flash Player is a plug-in that allows your Internet browser to accept Flash movies and files.
Q: How do I install/uninstall Flash Player? Please refer to the System Requirements page. There is a link to install/uninstall Flash Player on this page.
Q: What should I do if I am having problems viewing the course(s)? Try each of the below tips to resolve the issue. If you still cannot view the course properly after trying each tip, please contact Customer Support.
- Ensure you are using either Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox 3 as your Internet browser for maximum results.
- Try refreshing your screen by clicking on the Refresh icon on your Internet browser.
- Try typing the web address into the address bar of your Internet browser. Do this instead of clicking on a link or clicking on a favorite.
- Try to cache your temporary files. This process varies by Internet browser. Please follow your Internet browser´s guidelines to complete this task.
Q: Why is the website not opening properly/completely? If you have pop-up blocker, it may prevent the website from loading properly. Try disabling your pop-up blocker to access our website.
Q: Why is it taking so long for each page of the course to display? The speed of your Internet connection determines the response time for each page to load. A dial-up connection is the minimum requirement to access the course, but we suggest you use a high-speed connection such as cable or DSL for the best results. Please refer to the System Requirements page for more information.
Q: Why is the Next button not showing? In our courses, you often have to complete an action to continue to the next page. The content on the page explains what you must do to continue to the next page. After you complete the required action, the Next button should display at the bottom of the page. If the Next button does not display after you complete the required action, contact Customer Support.
Q: How do I reset my password? Follow the steps below to reset your password.
- Click Log In in the upper right corner of the Home page.
- Click on the Click Here link located under the Sign In and Continue button.
